On the Soteria Vase, M.S. A floor mosaic dating to the 5th century is depicted. On the floor mosaic, which is understood to belong to a bath, there is a bust of a woman, whose name is understood to be Soteria, and which is thought to represent “renewal”.
The Soteria Vase is made of handmade amber glass. The glass surface on which the patterns are applied is covered with 24-carat gold gilding, mosaic texture is applied to the gold-coated surface, and each mosaic particle formed is hand-painted with special glass paint.
