The Enameled Shield Vase is adapted from the ornamental patterns on the shield from the 16th century Ottoman period in the Topkapı Palace Museum.
The vase is made of handmade white opal glass and all the relief patterns on it are handcrafted using 24-carat gold gilding and colored with enamel technique.
